Anthony P. Veschio,89,47 Reed Ave.,Monessen,died on Monday,Sept. 30,1991,at Mon Valley Hospital following a lingering illness. He was born on Jan. 16,1902,in Monessen,a son of the late Ralph and Theresa Rudiger Veschio. Mr. Veschio retired from the American Chain and Cable Company Page Plant in Monessen. He was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church of Monessen,former member of St. Leonard's Roman Catholic Church,and a charter member of the Legion of Mary.Mr. Veschio was preceded in death by two brothers,Leo and Bernard,and one sister, Lillian Kurry. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Moravec Veschio;six sons, Bernard F. of Monessen,Ralph A. of Donora,William T.of Belle Vernon,Tony of the state of California,Val Gene of Monessen and Timothy of Tampa,Fla;sixteen grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc.,Grand Blvd.and Marion Ave.,Monessen. Blessing Service is Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home,and Mass of Christian Burial is at 10 a.m. at Epiphany of Our Lord Church. Interment will follow at Belle Vernon Cemetery. C.D.of A.will hold a Wake Service on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Rosary Service will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home. The Robert A. Billick Funeral Home is handling funeral arrangements.
