Vernon; died Thursday; March 17;
1987; at 12:33 p.m. in Mon Valley
Hospital; Carroll Township; following
a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Vernaccini was born Jan. 25;
1918; in Washington Township;
Fayette County; a daughter of the
late Peter Sopsic Sr. and Ella
Stepkovich Sopsic.
She was Catholic by faith.
Her husband; Roland (Ronnie)
Vernaccini; died in 1981. Surviving are several nieces and nephews;

one stepbrother; George
Kowasic Sr.; of Naomi; Fayette City
R.D.I; and one stepsister; Mrs.
Steve (Katheryn) Misher; of
Fairhope; Belle Vernon.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City. A Prayer Service will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m.in the funeral home;followed b a 10 a.m.Mass of Christian Burial in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
