She was born in Charleroi on May 8;1900;the daughter of the late Joseph and Leefa Taylor. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Charleroi and OES Chapter 122 of Charleroi. Survivivng are her husband;Fred A.Volker Sr.;stepdaughter;Letty Roth of Falls Church;Va.;stepson;Fred A.Volker Jr.of Grenada Hills;cousin;Bessie Erwin of Charleroi;five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home;226 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.Stephen Hurnyak officiating. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
