Wanda (Pesis) Townsend;55;of Pittsburgh;died Thursday;Oct.23;1997. She was born in Fayette City;a daughter of the late Joseph Pensis and Blanche Ray Pensis. Survivors include her husband;Peter H.Townsend;two sisters;Wanita Mitchell of Allenport and Jennie Queer of Tennessee;and two brothers;Dr.Leonard Pensis of Burgettstown and Joseph Pensis of Coolidge;Ariz. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister;Rita Mitchell. Services were held in Pittsburgh and handled by the John A.Freyvogel Sons;Inc.Funeral Home.
