Obituary

James Trenk Sr., 71, of 111 Greenwood Ave., Belle Vernon, died Friday, Sept. 1, 1995, at 2:56 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital, Carroll Township. Mr. Trenk was born Dec. 3, 1923, in Fairhope, a son of the late Paul and Mary Molnar Trenk. He retired in 1982 from the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation, where he was employed as a hooker. Mr. Trenk was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Belle Vernon. He was a member of REAP and its golf league and the Belle Vernon Golden Age Assembly. Mr. Trenk was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Stella Antal Trenk; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jim Trenk Jr. and Michelle Trenk, and Richard and Jody Trenk, both of Belle Vernon; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Kornhi of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and four grandchildren, Jimmy, Christopher, Richelle and Bethany Trenk. Two brothers, Louis and Paul Trenk, and one sister, Eleanor Senko, are deceased. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon.  Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m.in the funeral home,with the Rev.Dr.Thomas St.Clair,pastor,First United Methodist Church,Belle Vernon,officiating.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
