Ruth Russell Taylor;78;died on Wednesday;Sept.5;1990;at 6:30 a.m.in Tender Loving Care Personal Care Home in Monessen. She was born on June 17;1912;in Rostraver Township;a daughter of the late George H.Taylor and Ella Griffey. Ms.Taylor lived in Monessen for the past eight months;and previously lived in the Rankin-Braddock area. She was a member of Triedstone Baptist Church of Rankin where she was a former member of the Senior Missionary Society. Survivors include two nephews;Leon Pappy Johnson of Monessen and George A.Johnson of Annapolis;Md.;one niece;Florence Wonack of Charleston;W.Va.;and great-nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 4 to 9 p.m. on Friday at the Percy E.Law Jr.Funeral Home;1324 Meldon Ave.;Donora. Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m.with Rev.Lloyd Oliver of Triedstone Baptist Church in Rankin officiating. Interment will follow at Belle Vernon Cemetery.
