Salvatore (Sam) Tallerico of 429 Market St.;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;April 20;1986;at 2:15 p.m.in his home. He was 91. Mr.Tallerico was born Jan.5;1895;in Italy;a son of the late Peter and Clara Tallerico. He retired in 1960 from employment in the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation. Mr.Tallerico had lived in the Belle Vernon area the past 75 years. He was a member of St.Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Clara Bruno Tallerico;on Sept.7;1981;and by two sons;Peter;an infant and Frank;who died Nov.14;1971. Surviving are two sons;John B.Tallerico of Palm Harbor;Fla.;and Peter B.Tallerico of Belle Vernon;five grandchildren;and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Private Services will be held Wednesday. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery;Belle Vernon;Pa. The Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
