Edna L.Tatar of Charleroi R.D.2 (Twilight Borough) died at 10:45 a.m.Tuesday;Aug.30;1983;in Washington Hospital;Washington;Pa. She was 74. Mrs.Tatar was born March 23;1909;in Elco;a daughter of the late Samuel Kenney and Katherine Ruffner Kenney. She had been a resident of Charleroi her entire life. Mrs.Tatar was a member of the Mormon Church. She is survived by her husband;James Tatar;at home;one daughter;Shirley Dean;of Belle Vernon;two sisters;Mrs.May Dunlop of Fairhope and Mrs.Bess Okorn of Washington;Pa.;and two grandchildren;Cynthia and Donald;both of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received at the Leonard M.Pavlic Funeral Home;235 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m.and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home;with Bishop Walter Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard M.Pavlic Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
