Obituary

Armand Tintori,a former Belle Vernon Borough Street Commissioner,of 24 Mulberry St.,Belle Vernon,died Sunday,Sept.27,1981,at 1:53 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital. He was 79. Mr.Tintori was born Nov.6,1901,in Dunlevy,a son of the late Anthony and Angelnia Tintori. He had served as Belle Vernon Borough Street Commissioner from 1958 until his retirement in 1970. For the past 11 years,he has been employed at Russ's Tavern,Belle Vernon. In addition to his parents,Mr.Tintori was preceded in death by a sister,Mrs.Flora Frederick. He was a member of St.Sebastian R.C.Church and its Holy Name Society of Belle Vernon,the East Belle Vernon Athletic Association and the Belle Vernon Golden Agers. Mr.Tintori was a life long resident of the Mon Valley. Survivors include his wife,Bruna Bartoletti Tintori at home,four daughters,Mrs.George (Gloria) Livi of Orlando,Fla.,Mrs.Martin (Lillian) Antal and Mrs.Albert (Marie) Santo,both of Belle Vernon,and Mrs.Roger (Elaine) Valdiserri of South Bend,Ind.,one sister,Mrs.Clara Lazzari of Monessen,one step-sister,Sestelin Vannucci of Belle Vernon and 11 grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held Wednesday at 9:20 a.m.in the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m.Mass of Christian Burial in St.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
