John W. (Jack) Thot;of 1104 Henry St.;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;March 22;1981;at 12:10 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital. He was 58. Mr.Thot was born Sept.27;1922;in Fitz Henry;Pa.;a son of Joseph Thot of Belle Vernon;who survives;and the late Edith Cornell Thot;who died in 1971. He retired from employment with the Lee Norse Division of Ingersol-Hand Corporation;North Charleoi;on March 15;1981. A U.S.Army veteran of World War II;Mr.Thot was a member os St.Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon. He was preceed in death by a brother;Leroy Thot;in 1980. Survivors;in addition to his father;include his wife;Rita DePaolo Thot;at home;two daughters;Mrs.Gene (Marie) Pasterick;and Mrs.Joseph (Jacqueline) Ruscitti;both of Belle Vernon;two sisters;Audrey Fauvie and Mary Lou Britt;both of Belle Vernon;and six grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held at the funeral home at 9 a.m. Wednesday;followed by a 9:30 a.m.Mass of Christian Burial in St.Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
