John William Turner; 66; of
Bedsworth St.; Pricedale; died
at 9 p.m. Sunday;July 15;1979; in the
Oakland Veterans Hospital.
He was born in Fairhope
June 18; 1913; son of the late
William and Minnie Turner.
A veteran of World War II;
he was a member of the Belle
Vernon American Legion Post
and the Hungarian Club of
Pricedale.
He retired in 1978 as road
foreman in Rostraver Twp.
He was preceded in death by
his parents; one brother;
Clarence; and one sister;
Wyona.
Surviving are his widow;
Ethel Jones Turner; one
daughter; Pamela Hutson of
Pricedale and one sister; Mrs.
Alberta Novak of Cleveland;
and two grandchildren.
Friends are being received
in the Shelby D. Ferguson
Funeral Home; 700 Broad
Avenue; Belle Vernon; where
services will be held at 11 a.m.
Wednesday;July 18;1979; with the Rev.
Howard Rodebaugh; pastor of
Pricedale Union Church; officiating.
Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
