Obituary

Ewing J.Trnavsky of R.D.1,Charleroi,died Wednesday,May 23,1979 at Mon Valley Hospital at 9:55 a.m. following a lengthy illness. He was born in Stockdale Jan.11,1900. He attended Charleroi public schools and was graduated in 1918. He was the son of the late Paul and Suzanne Komada Trnavsky Sr. A veteran of World War I,he was a member of the Last Two Men's Club,and had lived in Charleroi his entire life. He was retired from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.,where he was a heater helper. Surviving are his widow,Margaret Jennewine Trnavsky,one daughter,Mrs.Margaret A.Scheponik of Maple View,Charleroi,two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers,Dr.Paul Trnavsky Jr.and Benjamin and two sisters,Julia Trnavsky and Mrs.Katherine Malusky. Friends will be received in the Michael Melinchak Funeral Home,Inc.,825 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight (Friday) where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday under the direction of the Rev.W.S.VanArsdale Jr. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
