Barry Sadler;51;of Charleroi;died Saturday;June 17;2000;in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born June 25;1948;in North Charleroi;a son of the late Jacob and Dorothy (Anderson) Sadler. Mr.Sadler grew up in the Fayette City area;and had been a resident of Charleroi the past 24 years. He was a member of Mary;Mother of the Church of Charleroi and a former member of the Naomi Club in Fayette City. He had worked at the former Lee Norse Company in Charleroi;Corning Glass and the former Pitt Gas and Canon Coal coal mines in Greene County. Survivors include his wife of 26 years;Connie (Spadafore) Sadler;two brothers;Donald and his wife Linda Sadler of Brownsville;Edward Sadler of Florida;a sister and brother-in-law;Dorothy and James Sullivan of Butler;his mother-in-law;Tressa Spadafore of Monessen;and by nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a brother;William Sadler. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME;INC.;441 Reed Ave.;Monessen. Family and friends will gather on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m.for prayers in the funeral home;followed by a 10 a.m.Funeral Mass in Mary;Mother of the Church;Charleroi. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
