Obituary

Louis Stringhill,70,of Belle Vernon,died Wednesday,June 30,1999,at 12:10 p.m. in Mercy Hospital. He was born Dec. 13,1928,in Belle Vernon,a son of the late Joseph and Josephine Mazzei Stringhill. Mr. Sringhill was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area,where he was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church.  He retired as a self-employed painter,working in the Mon Valley. Survivors include two sisters,Lena Mazzei and Janie Mitchell,both of Belle Vernon.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eight brothers, Orlando,Charles,Frank,Rudolph,James,Fred,Anthony,and Samuel Stringhill and a sister, Ennis Stringhill. Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. A Prayer service will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home,followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon,with the Rev. John R. Cindric,V.F.,pastor,as celebrant.  Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Legion of Mary will recite the Rosary in the funeral home Friday at 3 p.m. The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home is hadling the arrangements.
