Geneva Florence (Dean) Stark,80,died Sunday,Jan. 26,1997,in Havencrest Nursing Center. She was born June 29,1916,in Lucasville,Ohio,a daughter of the late John L. and Nora Lou May Caudill. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law,Nora Lou and Chick Gosney of Roscoe, two sons and daughters-in-law,David and Edna Dean of Panama City,Fla. and Ronald and Mary Lou Dean of Pensacola,Fla.;eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by three sisters, Hattie,Lena and Ferril and two brothers, Ellis and Curtis. Friends will be received in the Ed Melenyzer Funeral Homes Inc.,1008 Furlong Ave.,Roscoe,Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Jjohn Pipp of the Maiden Christian Fellowship Church of Brownsville offficiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery,Belle Vernon. The Ed Melenyzer Funeral Homes Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
