in her home.
She was born Feb. 22; 1915;
in Gillespie; a daughter of the
late Andrew and Anna Pavlochik Kosanko.
She was a member of the
First Christian Church; Perryopolis; and the Perryopolis Senior Citizens Center.
Survivors include two sons
and one daughter-in-law; Arthur G. Protos and Andrew E.
and Angeline Protos; both of
R.D. 2 Perryopolis; one
daughter; Mrs. Melvin (Constance Protos) Erler of R.D. 2
Perryopolis; five grandchildren;
nine great-grandchildren; five
sisters; Mary Waite of Erie; Elizabeth Lanf of Fayette City;helen Shetterly of Streetsboro;Ohio;Mrs.Samuel (Catherine) Esper of Columbia Station;Ohio;and Mrs.John (Irene Kosanko Kruczek) Pallo of Stockdale;and three brothers;John;Stephen and Joseph Kosanki;all of Gillespie. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her first husband;George A.Protos;and her second husband;Thomas D.Smith. Friends will be received in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home Inc.;Perryopolis;on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.;Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.;and Friday until 11 a.m.;when funeral services will be held with the Rev.Paul M.Ragle officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Blair-Lowther Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of the arrangements.
