Grant F. Stewart,88,of 1835 South Raccoon, Apt. 3,Austintown, Ohio,formerly of Ellenton, Fla.,died Thursday,Feb. 15,1996 in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Youngstown, Ohio. He was born Feb. 24,1907,in Roscoe,a son of the late Samuel and Alberta Matthews Stewart. He was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel where he worked for 48 years as a foreman. Survivors include two nephews, Russell Desellems of Woodbridge, N.J.,and Ronald Desellems of Austintown, Ohio. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by his wife, Olive J. Blacka Stewart;one sister, Irene Ord and two brothers, Charles and Floyd Stewart. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Higgins Funeral Home Inc.,Youngstown, Ohio,is in charge of the arrangements.
