Mary Clausi Sciore;85;of 335 Hill St.;Belle Vernon;died Friday;Jan.12;1998;at 5:42 p.m.at St.Francis Central Hospital;Pittsburgh. She was born July 27;1910;in Petrona;Italy;a daughter of the late Rocco A.and Josephine Colosimo Clausi. Mrs.Sciore was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon Community. She was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. She was retired from the former Charleroi/Monessen Hospital;where she was employed in the housekeeping department. Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law;John and Kathleen Sciore of St.Louis;Mo.;Salvatore (Sam) and Dolores Sciore Jr.of Fayette City and Louis (Gig) and Joyce Sciore of Jacobs Creek;a daughter-in-law;Pat Sciore of Belle Vernon;a son-in-law;Bob Igoe of West Newton;a sister-in-law;Ruth Clausi of Meadville;one sister;Theresa Zeli of Belle Vernon;16 grandchildren;and 17 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Salvatore Sciore Sr.in 1970;a daughter;Vivian Igoe in 1986;a son;Rocco L.Sciore Sr.in 1991;and a brother;Louis Clausi in 1988. Friends will be received in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayer service will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home. This will be followed by Funeral Mass in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
