Obituary

Jullia Strubakis,80,of Fallowfield Township,died Wednesday,Aug.2,1995,in Mon Valley Hospital. Born Nov.29,1914,in Cleveland,Ohio,she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Howeili Katinsky. Mrs.Strubakis was a member of St.Spyridon Orthodox Church,Monessen,and was past vice president of its Philoptochos Society. She was also a member of the Fallowfield Community Club and the Scatter Club. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband,Angelo Strubakis,one son,Costa Greek Strubakis,one brother,Michael Katinsky,and two sisters,Anna Bazilwich and Stella Dusick. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law,Michael and Pamela Strubakis of Orlando,Fla,,two daughters,Catherine Louis of Fallowfield Township and Connie Helton of Belle Vernon,one brother,Pete Katinsky of Charleroi,two sisters,Olga Batchelor of Baltimore,Md.,and Josephine Smith of Newport News,Va.,four grandchildren,Joanne Strubakis,Margaret Love,Anthony Marinos and Jack Stanley Marinos,and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home Inc.,226 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in St.Sypridon Greek Orthodox Church,Monessen,with the Rev.Nicholas Stavrakis as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Trigasion services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m.in the funeral home. Arrangements are being handled by the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home Inc.
