Obituary

JohnT. Shosky, 86, of Monessen, died Wednesday, July 26,
1995, in Mon Valley Hospital,
following a declining illlnes.
Born July 10, 1909, in North
Belle Vernon, he was the son of
the late Michael and Mercy
Cjaha Shosky.
A Monessen resident all of
his adult life, Mr. Shosky was
retired from the Irvin Works division of U.S. Steel Corp.
He was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman
Catholic Church, the Slovak
Home, P.N.A. Group 1146, all of
Monessen. He was also an active member of the Holy Name
Bowling League of Monessen.
He was U.S. Army veteran of
World War II.
In addition to his parents, he
was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Patterson, and two
brothers, Michael and Andrew
Shosky.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Anne Terpak Shosky, one
daughter, Barbara Michele
Shosky, at home, one son and
daughter-in-law, John B. and
Marge Shosky of Clairton,
three grandsons, Joshua,
Jeremy and Adam Shosky, and
one sister, Margaret Frank of
Belle Vernon.
Friends will be received
Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and
Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. in the Robert A. Billick
Funeral Home Inc., Grand
Boulevard and Marion Avenue,Monessen,where a Blessing service will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m.,followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.in Epiphany of Our Lord R.C.Church,Monessen. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parish wake service will be held Friday at 2 p.m.in the funeral home. The Robert A.Billick Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
