Alfred Eugene Smith Sr.,63,of West Elizabeth,died Friday,March 24,1995,in Jefferson Hospital,Jefferson Borough. Mr. Smith was born May 24,1931,in Monessen,a son of the late Robert Charles Smith and Margaret Kelley Smith,who survives and resides in Monessen. He was a retired cabinet maker for Santori Brothers Cabinets in Belle Vernon. A daughter, Kelley Smith,died in 1993. Surviving are his wife, Patricia A. Kermes Smith of Whitehall;three sons, Robert C. Smith of Hays,Alfred E. Smith Jr. of Daytona Beach,Fla.,and Mark A. Smith of Whitehall;four daughters, Margaret Sukelle of Daytona,Fla.,Roberta Dunseath of Monessen,JoAnn Smith of Shadyside and Kimberly Dodds of West Elizabeth;a step-daughter,Patricia Smith of Monessen; two brothers,Robert Smith of Buffalo,N.Y.,and Theodore Smith of Upper St. Clair,and seven grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the S.M.Finney Funeral Home,West Elizabeth. Services will be held Tuesday at noon in the funeral home with the Rev. Ralph Cotton,pastor,West Elizabeth and Elrama Methodist Church,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The S.M. Finney Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
