Michael E.Swiantek;84;of 834 Hill St.;Belle Vernon;died Friday;May 28;1993;in Jefferson Hospital. He was born in Library;Sept.12;1908;a son of the late Anthony and Sophia Janosky Swiantek. Mr.Swiantek was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel;Gibson Yards;Monessen. He was a member of St.Anne Roman Catholic Church;Rostraver Township. He is survived by his wife;Elizabeth Zolock Swiantek;a son;Michael J.Swiantek of Fellsburg;a daughter;Carole Swiantek Pleva of Burton;Ohio;four brothers;Clem Swiantek;Louie Swiantek;Ray Swiantek and Anthony Swiantek;all of Perryopolis;a sister;Marge Luce of Somerset;10 grandchildren;and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a brother;Theodore Swiantek;and two sisters;Cecelia Schultz and Amelia Rabatin. Friends will be received at the James C.Stump Funeral Home;Inc.;Sweeney Plan;Rostraver Township;Sunday and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St.Anne Roman Catholic Church with the Rev.Thomas Rodgers officiating.
