Mrs.Schmidt was born May 13;1908;in Frank;Pa.;a daughter of the late Harry Hackenson Sr.and Elvina Whiteman Hackenson. She had been a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area. Mrs.Schmidt was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon. Surviving are her husband of 60 years;Henry Schmidt;a son and daughter-in-law;Henry A.and Doris Schmidt of Levittown;three grandsons;John;Allen and Richard Schmidt;a brother;Jack D.Hackenson of Charleroi;and a sister;Mrs.Mary Momyer of Bowling Green;Ohio. Three brothers;Elmer and Leo Hackenson and Harry Hackenson Jr.and three sisters;Bertha;Sylvia and Violet Hackenson;are deceased. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home with the Rev.James D.Burton;pastor;First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
