Iva McFall Steer, 74,of 601 Westgate Manor,Monessen,died Monday,March 30,1992,in Mon Valley Hospital, Carroll Township,following a lengthy illness. She was born May 26,1917,in Belle Vernon,a daughter of the late Arlie and Melissa Hendrickson McFall. Mrs. Steer was a lfelong resident of Monessen,where she was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter,Nancy Layton of Monessen;a daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Don Zenobi of Monessen;seven grandchildren,eight great-grandchildren;two sisters, Mrs. William (Mildred) Rose of Monessen and Grace McCorkel of Swissvale;two brothers, Thomas McFall of Elgin,Ill,;and Glenn McFall of Bridgeville and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Rhome Funeral Home Inc.,1209 Grand Blvd.,Monessen, where services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Scott Koeppen officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Rhome Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
