Obituary

Emma Louise Setree,66, of Allison Park, formerly of Lynnwood (Belle Vernon),died Sunday, Feb. 17,1991, at 3:43 a.m. in North Hills Passavant Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born June 16, 1924, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of Albert J. and Edith Lewis Mack, who survive and reside in Punxsutawney. Mrs. Setree was a member of Speers United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Women's organization. She had been a resident of Speers Hill from 1964 to 1979 and resided in Belle Vernon from 1979 to 1990 before moving to Allison Park. Mrs. Setree was a former employee of the G.C. Murphy Company, Quality Meat Company and Al-Jay's, all in Charleroi, retiring in December 1989. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Setree II, Nov. 25, 1987. In addition to her parents, survivors include three sons, James E. Setree of Crownsville, Md., Michael A. Setree of Glen Burnie, Md., and Danny R. Setree of Baltimore , Md., three daughters, Jean L. Dolinsky of Finleyyille. Patricia A. Landro of Irvin, Calif., and Diana S. Wood of Allison Park, one brother, Albert Mack of Punxsutawney, two sisters, Betty Rhodes of Syracuse, N.Y., and Shirley McKee of Barracksville, W.Va., and four grandchildren, David and Diana Dolinsky, Patricia Setree and Rebecca Wood. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home, 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon. Friends will gather Wednesday at 11 a.m.for services at Speers United Methodist Church with the Rev.John E.Flower Jr.officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Speers United Methodist Church or to the Association for Brain Tumor Research,3725 N.Palmar Ave.,Chicago,Ill. 60618. The Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
