Joseph W. Stanish,87,of 10977 Caledonia Drive, Jacksonville, Fla.,died Sunday,Feb. 3,1991,at 6:55 a.m. at his home. He was born in Naomi on July 19,1903,a son of the late Nickola and Paulina Stanish. Mr. Stanish had been a resident of Florida for the past 20 years and had formerly resided in McKeesport and Fairhope. He was a retired foreman for the Potter McCune Company of McKeesport. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife,Ann Shimko Stanish in 1946. He is survived by two sons,Joseph A. Stanish of Fayette City and Timothy Michael Stanish,with whom he made his home;six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 9:15 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church of Fayette City at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
