Stella J.Strychalski;70;of Fairhope;Belle Vernon;died suddenly;Wednesday;Nov.21;1990;at 3:25 a.m.in Mon Valley Hospital.  She was born May 7;1920;in Philadelphia;a daughter of the late Michael and Julia Kaplan.  She was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church;Fayette City.  Survivors include her husband;Stanley Red Strychalski;one son;Edwin of Scenery Hill;one daughter;Mrs.(Ronald) Barbara Martinak of Fairhope;four brothers;John;Steve and Andy Kaplan;all of Kittanning;and Mike Kaplan of Ohio;two sisters;Mrs.Katherine Kiger of Kittanning;and Mrs.Victoria Strychalski of Fairhope.  Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City.  A Prayer service will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m.in the funeral home;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church;Fayette City;with the Rev.Richard Mackiewicz;pastor;as celebrant.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Parish Rosary will be recited Thursday at 3 p.m.in the funeral home.  Church wake service will be held Thursday at 8 p.m.in the funeral home.  The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
