Joseph Sellaro;79;of 406 Monongahela Ave.;Elizabeth;died Thursday;Nov.16;1989;at 7:32 a.m.in Willis Nursing Center;Homestead. Born March 24;1910;in Bluefield;W.Va.;he was the son of the late Rosario and Saleta Bitonti Sellaro. Mr.Sellaro was a member of St.Michael Roman Catholic Church;Elizabeth Township. He had lived in Elizabeth the past nine years;having spent most of his life in Monessen. He retired in 1975 from the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by two brothers;Frank and James Sellaro. Surviving are his wife;Anita Tucci Sellaro;one son;Norman R.Sellaro of Elizabeth;two grandchildren;Anthony and Dana;two brothers;John and Louis Sellaro;both of Belle Vernon;and three sisters;Edith Lachowicz;Mary Klisowski and Theresa Toth;all of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where a blessing service will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;with Father Kenneth L.Lovasik of St.Michael Roman Catholic Church;Elizabeth;as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.
