Obituary

John Say,70,formerly of Charleroi,died Saturday,June 3,1989,in the Northland Terrace Nursing Home,Columbus,Ohio. He was born March 9,1919,in North Charleroi. Mr.Say was a member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church,Charleroi,and the Slovak and Russian clubs. He was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II,and retired from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by his wife,Anne,in 1978. Surviving are three sons,Michael Say of Gahanna,Ohio,Richard Say of Mt.Laurel,N.J.,and Nicholas Say of Tiffin,Ohio,three grandchildren,one brother,Frank Say of Monroeville,and two sisters,Mary Aglio of North Charleroi and Mrs.Francis (Julia) Weik of Charleroi. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home,819 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi,where services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Fr.John Rachko of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church,Charleroi,officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home.
