Harold B.Saunders;63;of 628 McKee Ave.;Monessen;died Friday;March 17;1989;at 1 a.m.in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born April 29;1925;in Belle Vernon;and was a son of the late Henry and Lillian Baker Saunders. Mr.Saunders had lived in Monessen for over 25 years;and was a member of the Wayman A.M.E.Church. He was a U.S.Navy veteran of World War II. He is survived by one son;Louis Saunders of Maryland;one daughter;Carmell L.Saunders Weathers of Maryland;three grandsons;three sisters;Helen Richards of Washington;Pa.;and Louisa Felder and Prudence J.Elliot;both of Monessen and with whom he made his home;and several nieces;nephews and cousins. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the William R.Taylor Funeral Home;645 McMahon Ave.;Monessen. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m.from the Wayman A.M.E.Church;Reed Ave.;Monessen;with the Rev.Robert Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The William R.Taylor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
