Mary Edna Stewart,72,of 108 State St.,Speers Hill,Charleroi,died Saturday,Jan.16,1988,at 10:25 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. Born in Rostraver Twp.,Westmoreland County,on Aug. 17,1915,she was a daughter of the late Fred Riskey and Edna Hall Risky Bickerton,who survives and resided with her. A resident of Speers for the past year,she spent most of her life in Twilight Borough. She was a retired antique dealer. In addition to her father,she was preceded in death by a brother,Joseph Riskey. Surviving are two brothers,Fred R. Riskey of R.D. Charleroi and Elmer T. Riskey of Youngstown,Ohio,and two sisters, Mrs. Rose White of Prosperity R.D.2,Pa.,and Mrs. Oleada Alessio of Speers Hill. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the funeral home,with the Rev. Zane Howland of the Speers United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of the arrangements.
