Pearl Hoffman Savage of Fairhope;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;April 12;1987;at 8:30 a.m.in Haven Crest Nursing Home;Carroll Twp.;following a brief illness. She was 69. Mrs.Savage was born Aug.12;1917;in Washington Twp.;Fayette County;a daughter of the late Robert and Lillian Davis Hoffman. She was a member of Marion Presbyterian Church;Fairhope. Mrs.Savage was also a member of the Golden Agers of Belle Vernon and Fayette City;and the Naomi Athletic Club. Survivors include her husband;Nick Savage;two sons;Robert Savage of Belle Vernon and Fred Savage;six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.;and on Wednesday;April 15 until 1 p.m.;when services will be held with the Rev.Charles LaPlaca;pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
