Edward Scullion of Fayette City;
R D.I; died Friday; Feb. 20; 1987; at
11:30 p m. in his home. He was 87.
Mr. Scullion was born Aug 12;1899; in Fayette City; a son of the late
William J. and Sarah George
Scullion.
He retired in 1965 from the Matway Coal Company; Bentleyville;
where he had been employed as a miner/electrician.
Mr. Scullion was a member of the
United Methodist Church of Fayette
City and the Fayette City Free and
Accepted Masons Gummert Lodge.
In addition to his parents; he was
also preceded in death by three
brothers; Wilbert; Thomas and
William Scullion.
Surviving are his wife; Sara Stark
Scullion; two daughters; Mrs. Glenn B. (Sara) Johnson of Pittsburgh and Virginia L.Scullion of Reading;Pa.;and one grandson;Scott E.Johnson;of Wayne;Pa.
Mr. Scullion was a life-long resident of Fayette City. Friends will be received Sunday
from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m in the Leonard J Parzynski Funeral
Home; 626 Broad Ave ; Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home;with the Rev.Jack E.Elder;pastor;United Methodist Church;Fayette City;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery;Belle Vernon. The family suggests contributions in Mr.Scullion’s memory may be made to the United Methodist Church of Fayette City. Fayette City F&AM Gummert Lodge Services will be held Sunday at 7:30 p.m.in the funeral home. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
