Obituary

Edward Scullion of Fayette City,
R D.I, died Friday, Feb. 20, 1987, at
11:30 p m. in his home. He was 87.
Mr. Scullion was born Aug 12,1899, in Fayette City, a son of the late
William J. and Sarah George
Scullion.
He retired in 1965 from the Matway Coal Company, Bentleyville,
where he had been employed as a miner/electrician.
Mr. Scullion was a member of the
United Methodist Church of Fayette
City and the Fayette City Free and
Accepted Masons Gummert Lodge.
In addition to his parents, he was
also preceded in death by three
brothers, Wilbert, Thomas and
William Scullion.
Surviving are his wife, Sara Stark
Scullion, two daughters, Mrs. Glenn B. (Sara) Johnson of Pittsburgh and Virginia L.Scullion of Reading,Pa.,and one grandson,Scott E.Johnson,of Wayne,Pa.
Mr. Scullion was a life-long resident of Fayette City. Friends will be received Sunday
from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m in the Leonard J Parzynski Funeral
Home, 626 Broad Ave , Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home,with the Rev.Jack E.Elder,pastor,United Methodist Church,Fayette City,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery,Belle Vernon. The family suggests contributions in Mr.Scullion's memory may be made to the United Methodist Church of Fayette City. Fayette City F&AM Gummert Lodge Services will be held Sunday at 7:30 p.m.in the funeral home. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
