A private Blessing service was held Monday,Feb. 9,1987 for Mabel Stewart of Fayette City,who died Friday,Feb. 6,1987,at 2:55 p.m. in Humbert Lane Health Care Center,Washington,Pa.,after a lengthy illness. She was 82. Mrs. Stewart was born April 26,1904,in Pardoe,Mercer County,a daughter of the late Edward and Margaret Buckham Driscoll. She was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church,Fayette City. Survivors include one daughter,Mrs. Walter (Regina) Wozniak of Fairhope,Belle Vernon;two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Officiating at the Blessing service was the Rev. Father George Griffin of Dale City,Va. The Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,was in charge of arrangements.
