Mildred Guder Simons of 336 Washington Ave.,Charleroi,died Wednesday,Dec. 24,1986,in Mon Valley Hospital. She was 78. Mr.s Simons was born June 5,1908,in Pricedale, a daughter of the late Henry and Cora Gailey Guder. Protestant by faith, she was retired from Mellon Bank's Charleroi Branch. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Guder and by a sister, Dolores Johnson. Survivors include her husband, Dewey Simons; a brother, Lloyd Guder of New Stanton; two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Anna) Anderson of Belle Vernon and Mrs. James (Kathryn) Newbigging of Pontiac, Mich. and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home,226 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi, where services will be held Saturday,Dec. 27,at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Gerald McCormick,pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Charleroi officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
