Lawrence Bunny Smith of 223 Schoonmaker Ave.;Monessen;died Thursday;May 9;1985;as a result of a fire at his residence. He was 31. Mr.Smith was born February 28;1954;in North Charleroi;s son of Albert and Frances Mills Smith;who survive and reside in Monessen. A lifelong resident of Monessen;he had served in the U.S.Navy. Mr.Smith was Baptist by faith. Surviving;in addition to his parents;are a daughter;Tiffany Smith of Monessen;four brothers;Alfred and Peck Smith;both of Monessen;and Al and Kim Smith;both of Pittsburgh;and six sisters;Ethel Smith Taylor of Bethel Park;Tine Hernandez of Los Angeles;Calif.;PFC Marie Smith of Fort Stewart;Ga.;and Ruth Durant;Iris Madison and Dyra Smith;all of Monessen. Friends will be received Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the William R.Taylor Funeral Home;645 McMahon Ave.;Monessen;where services will be held Monday;May 13;at 11 a.m. with Dr.Oscar Hill officiating.
