Dennis George Gulya, 66, of Monessen, died on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, in the Jefferson Regional Medical Center, with his loving family at his bed side. He was born on March 9, 1943, in North Charleroi, the son of George Gulya and the late Ruth M. Dull Gulya. He was preceded in death by a sister, Meredith Volpe. He was a member of IBEW No. 56 and was a retired electrician. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by his father, George Gulya of Belle Vernon; his wife, Marsha Gulya of Monessen; by three sons, George and wife Micheel Gulya of New Jersey, Anthony and John Gulya of Georgia; and by two stepsons, Michael and Stacy Serenari and Larry and Leighanna Serenari, both of Pa.; and seven grandchildren. There will be no viewing and services will be private. Arrangements were handled by the ELEY/McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC., Fayette City.
