Ellis R.Stickle of 307 Washington Ave.;Charleroi;died Sunday;Aug.22;1982;at 4:20 a.m.in the Mon Valley Hospital. Mr.Stickle was born in Perryopolis; son of the late Elery and Mary Wilkes Stickle. He was a retired employee of the Guttman Oil Company. Survivors include his widow;Priscilla Bevan Stickle;one son;David E.of Washington;Pa.;one daughter;Nancy Thurston of Suitland;Md.;one sister;Marquerite Kern of Perryopolis;and two grandsons. Friends will be received in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home;226 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.where services will be held on Wednesday;Aug.25;at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Gerald McCormick;pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Charleroi;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
