Mary Onufer Stefnik of Second and Market streets;Fayette City;died Sunday;May 23;1982;at 5 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born in Fayette City;a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Mikoveski Onufer. She was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church;Belle Vernon. She was preceded in death by her husband;George R.Stefnik;on Jan.11;1979;and four brothers and one sister. Survivors include two sons;Stephen James Crow of Charleroi and Ralph Stefnik of Wheeling;W.Va.;two grandchildren;a brother;Andrew Onufer of Fayette City;and severl nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated in Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church;Belle Vernon;Wednesday at 9 a.m. with the Rev.John Kluchko;pastor;as celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parastas services will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 8 p.m. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
