It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of our amazing father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend Randy Lee Forte of Monessen, PA on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at the age of 57 years old. A son of the late Carmine “Mickey” Forte and Sandra Dudgeon Forte of Centerville, Randy was born on November 1, 1965.
Randy graduated from Beth Center School District in 1984 where he very much excelled in football as a running back and a wide receiver and in baseball, as a phenomenal pitcher. He even earned the title as one of the fastest players in Western Pennsylvania. He is known for his caring and larger-than-life personality and sense of humor. He was a devoted and loyal father and grandfather to his children and grandchildren.
He absolutely loved cheering his grandchildren on whether it was his granddaughter Ava Wadsworth, whom is a national cheer champion at the age of 11, his grandson Jayden Wadsworth whom is taking in his footsteps with being a phenomenal football and baseball player at the age of 9, and/or Carmella Wadsworth whom has dominated softball and gymnastics at the age of 7.
He was the shining light in everyones lives and was everyones best friend. He was the definition of Mr. Popular. Randy loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, watching the Las Vegas (formerly Oakland) Raiders football team, and especially spending time with his family whom meant the world to him.
His faith was so strong so we know his mom, dad, deceased ex wife and many others met him at heaven gates. We know that he will forever watch over his family everyday because keeping them safe, healthy & always knowing how strong they are was always his number 1 priority. We all will always love you most, until we meet again.
Randy is survived by his three daughters and son-in-law, Alexis Forte-Wadsworth and Danny Wadsworth of California, PA, and daughters Brooke Forte and Brandee Forte of Bentleyville; three grandchildren Ava, Jayden, and Carmella Wadsworth; brother Jeffrey Forte and wife Kathleen of Washington Township, and nieces and nephew Brandon, Caitlyn and Autumn Forte and numerous friends.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 2-4 and 5-7 PM at the Frye Funeral Home, Inc. in Monongahela, PA. A blessing memorial service will be held that evening at 7:00 pm.
