Obituary
Cheryl Anne Speers, 9, of 100 Pennsylvania Ave., Speers, died Friday morning April 17,1970,when she was struck by a bus on Rte. 88 near her home She was born in North Charleroi, March 20, 1961, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Van A. Speers Sr. She was a member of Charleroi Brownie Troop 4007. Survivors besides her parents are two brothers, Van A. Speers Jr. and Scott, a sister, Peggy, all at h o m e , her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Katherine B. Speers of Speers, maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Mimidis of Belle Vernon, and her great - grandmother, Mrs. Martha Harkins of Indiana state.Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home, Belle Vernon, after 7 p m Saturday, until Monday, April 20, at 11:30 a m , when the body will be removed to the Bible Baptist Church, Belle Vernon R. D.4. , for services at 1:30 p m. The Rev. Atney L Dickerson will officiate and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson of Belle Vernon is the funeral director.
