Olenda Louise Smith of 81 Carson St.,Pricedale,died Tuesday,Jan. 5,1982,at 12:30 a.m. She was 62. Mrs. Smith was born Oct. 31,1919,in Piston,Ga.,a daughter of the late George and Maryella Dixon. A widow,she lived in Pricedale for over 35 years after movng there from Allenport. She was a member of the Pleasant Greene A.M.E. Church, Pricedale. Survivors include a sister, Mattie Ikard of Cleveland,Ohio,and numerous nieces,nephews and other relatives. Friends will be received in the William R.Taylor Funeral Home,645 McMahon Ave.,Monessen from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday,and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Pleasant Greene A.M.E. Church,Pricedale. The Rev. Marguerite Henderson will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The William R. Taylor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
