Charles R.Stark of 336 Speer St.;Belle Vernon;died Monday;Dec.7;1981;in Mon Valley Hospital. He was 65. Mr.Stark was born Dec.3.1916 in Belle Vernon;a son of George and Elizabeth Stewart Stark. He retired this year as an engineer for Monessen-Southwestern Railway at the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Mr.Stark was a member of United Transporation Union (engineers) Local 1643;the Bethany Bible Fellowship;Belle Vernon;and the Belle Vernon F & AM Lodge 643. He was preceded in death by a brother;Clifford Stark;on Sept.20;1981. Survivors include his widow;Eleaner L.Gillingham Stark;his stepmother;Anna Stark of Belle Vernon;one daughter;Mrs.Bill (Donna) Vandivner of Belle Vernon;two half-brothers;Jay Stark of Belle Vernon and George Stark of Monessen;two sisters;Mrs.Ruppert Marshall and Mrs.Hugh Nehi;both of Monessen;two grandsons;William C.and Bobby Ray Vandivner;both of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon from 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Wednesday. Services will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 11 a.m.with the Rev.William Jamison of the Bethany Bible Fellowship;Belle Vernon;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Masonic services will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. United Transporation Union Local 1643 (engineers) services will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 8 p.m. The Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
