Lyda Schweitzer of 209 North Washington St.,Montoursville, Pa.,and formerly of Webster,died Monday, Oct. 12,1981 at 10:55 p.m. in Williamsport Hospital following an extended illness. She was 85. Mrs. Schweitzer was born Jan. 16,1896 in McKeesport,a daughter of Peter and Adeline Rayman Maund. She was a member of Faith Wesleyan Church,Williamsport. Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Frank H. Schweilzer;one son,Robert Stevenson of Erie,one step-son,Paul Schweitzer of Kansas City, Mo.,one daughter,Mrs. Ruth Fagan of Belle Vernon;one step-daughter,Mrs. Mary Overfelt of Kansas City,Mo;one brother,George Maund of Monessen;one sister,Mrs. Elsie Benedetti of Belle Vernon;13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Spitler Funeral Home,Montoursville,on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.,where services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Graveside services will be held at Belle Vernon Cemetery at 2 p.m. with the Rev.Jay Clark officiating.
