Kathy Jo Hammitt Collinet, 55, of N. Belle Vernon, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 in Mon Valley Hospital. A daughter of the late Robert A. Hammitt Sr. and Grace Casteel Hammitt, she was born in Pittsburgh on July 28, 1966. Formerly residing in Texas and Ohio, Kathy grew up in Monessen and has been a resident of N. Belle Vernon for the last 20 years. She enjoyed arts and crafts and collecting Indian relics. Kathy is survived by a son, Steven Collinet at home; a sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Paul Kunsa of Monessen; a brother, Robert A. Hammitt Jr.; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Barbara and Frank Wisener of N. Belle Vernon; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lisa and Keith Ondulick of Roscoe; and nieces and nephews, Laura Ondulick, Jason Ondulick, Paul Kunsa, and Brady Kunsa. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. Collinet on December 16, 2013. There will be no public visitation or funeral services.
