Obituary

Glen (Ted) Stimmel of Fayette City R.D.1 died Saturday,July 12,1980,in Mon Valley Hospital.  He was 67. He was born Sept. 15,1912 in Fayette City,a son of the late Arthur and Ollie Stimmel. Mr. Stimmel was retired from Allied Chemical Company,Newell,and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Brownsville,and Morningstar Grange. Survivors include his widow,Mary Stump Stimmel;one son,Edward Glen Stimmel of North Ridgefield,Ohio;one daughter,Mrs. Edna Mae Sutton of Brownsville;two stepdaughters,Mrs. Jane Tokar and Mrs. Joan Westfall,both of Rostraver Twp., one stepson,James C. Stump of Rostraver Twp.;one brother,Charles Stimmel of Wanatah,Ind.; one sister,Mrs. Elsie Speilman of California,Pa.;three grandchildren,two great-grandchildren,eight step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the James C.Stump Funeral Home,Inc.,Rostraver Twp.  Services will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Arthur Charsky officiating.  Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  The James C. Stump Funeral Home,Inc.,is in charge of arrangements.
