Funeral services will be held Monday,June 30,at 10 a.m. in the family plot at Belle Vernon Cemetery for Andrew (Jake) Sekara,60,of 404 Johnson Ave.,Belle Vernon. Mr. Sekara, a life-long resident of the Belle Vernon Area,died suddenly on Wednesday,June 25,1980 at 1:07 p.m. in his home. Mr. Sekara, a veteran of the u.S. Army during World War II,was born in Greensburg on Feb. 24,1920. He was a retired employee of the Corning Glass Works in Charleroi and a member of the Belle Vernon Moose and the Hungarian Club of Pricedale. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by his wife,Eva Corbish Sekara. Survivors include one step-son,Frederick Rausseaux of the State of Oklahama;one step-brother,Ike Costello of Belle Vernon and a step-granddaughter. There will be no public visitation. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon.
