Anna Mae Stutgis;89;of 835 Beech St.;Washington;died Tuesday Oct.23;1979 in Washington Hospital. A former Fayette City resident;she was the daughter of the late Gustave and Juliana Redmer Blum. She was a 75-year member of the First Christian Church;Fayette City. Mrs.Sturgis was preceded in death by her husband;John H.Sturgis;on Oct.7;1961. Survivors include two dughters;Thelma Barber;Washington;and Melvina Bird;Pomona;Calif.;three grandchildren;nine great-grandchildren;and one great-great grandchild. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;with the Revs.Bruce E.Smith and John Bowers officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
