He was a member of the St.Sebastian’s Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;the Monessen Firemen’s Club 1;and was an employee of the B.O.F.of the Monessen plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. He is survived by his wife;Mary Sarnowski Sivek;one son;Karl A.at home;one daughter;Susan Mary at home;three brothers;Nick;of Monessen;Andrew of Charleroi;and Frank of Belle Vernon;two sisters;Eva Babay;of Monessen;and Mary Feehan of Monessen. Friends may call Saturday and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. A prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m.Monday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10 a.m.Monday at St.Sebastain’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
