Services were held Monday morning,June 18,1979,for Thomas R. (Tucker) Stewart Jr.of Perryopolis R.D.2 who died at 3 p.m. Friday,June 15,1979,in Allegheny General Hospital,Pittsburgh. He was 59. Mr. Stewart was born April 29,1920 in Jefferson twp.,a son of Thomas and Jessie Gardner Stewart of Perryopolis R.D.2. He was a member of Redstone Methodist Church and Morningstar Grange. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his widow, Ella Rebovich Stewart;two sons,Thomas of Smock and Richard of Perryopolis;four grandchildren;one sister,Mrs. Leland (Agnes) Coldren of Vanderbilt R.D.,four brothers, Eugene Stewart of Perryopolis,James Stewart of Bridgeville,Willis Stewart of Perryopolis R.D.2,and Melrose Stewart of Brownstown. Services were held from the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home in Perryopolis,with the Rev. Jerry Calloway officiatng. Interment was in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Blair-Lowther Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
